Long Point Revitalization Project & Other project updates

Announcements will be made when looking for volunteers to help out with efforts throughout the year.  We look forward to seeing you this year.
ALL PROPERTIES
You should begin to notice some painting and refreshing going on in the near future, especially at Small Beach with the Playground equipment.
BENSONS PIER
Although the majority of the work has been completed at Bensons Pier, additional work is being scheduled to replace about 20 feet of deck using the new poles that have been driven.  The cross over between the 2 piers will also be completed.
LONG POINT
This will be our biggest effort this year. During renovations, LONG POINT WILL BE CLOSED TO ALLOW TRUCKS AND EQUIPMENT TO COMPLETE THIS JOB.  Announcements will be made and we will attempt to minimize the time required for this closing.
The parking lot at Long Point will be redone with either Millings or Blue Stone.  Pot Holes will be fixed at the same time and the speed bump will also be repaired. 
The area where the Beach Attendant station is currently located routinely floods.  We are permitted to fill and raise the elevation in this area and are expecting this to be done at the same time the parking lot is redone.  A new shed will be placed in this area that can be used by the attendants, as well as for various planned functions by the Civic Association.
